Mark Healy
Vice President and General Manager, National Defense
Mark Healy is the Vice President and General Manager of the National Defense strategic business unit for Ball Aerospace. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s portfolio of space systems and advanced technologies for the defense and intelligence communities.
Previously, Healy served as vice president of National Intelligence Systems, where he was responsible for all programs supporting the intelligence community. His primary focus was efficiently executing development programs. Healy was also senior director for the National GEOINT Space mission area, executing programs and developing business in the geospatial-intelligence community.
Healy has more than 35 years of experience in the aerospace, defense and commercial technology sectors, including service in the United States Army where he served as a paratrooper and combat engineer with the 82nd Airborne Division and 18th Airborne Corps. Prior to joining Ball in 2003, he held systems engineering and program management roles at GE Aerospace and Lockheed Martin, and worked in technical leadership positions in the telecommunications sector.
