The Ball Aerospace Internship Experience

Summer Intern Program
Here's what you need to know:
- Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited academic institution for at least 1 semester following the internship program, i.e. Fall 2021.
- Students must have completed their sophomore year of an undergraduate program or be enrolled in graduate program by the start of the internship.
- We offer an array of internships in areas like Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Operations, Finance, Information Technology/Cybersecurity, and more!
- Recruitment for the summer program starts at the beginning of the preceding fall semester.
- Hourly salary ranges are posted on every job description under Compensation & Benefits.
- Interns are paid a competitive hourly wage, and every intern receives a stipend to help with
other expenses. - Interns relocating from out-of-state for the program are reimbursed for travel.
- Interns will enjoy in networking, training, professional development, social events and
engagement with employees of all levels at the organization, including executives and top
thought leaders. - Interns are encouraged to join our Ball network and interest groups and participate in employee events.
- Interns will have the opportunity to participate in the Ball Intern Remote Sensing Team (BIRST) program, which allows interns to experience a program from design to launch. Edge of Space Sciences provides BIRST with a high-altitude balloon, while United Launch Alliance provides a student-built sport rocket to carry the intern payloads.
- The Summer Intern Program is in person and on-site.
- The program runs 10 weeks, 40 hours per week.
- Most of our positions are located in Colorado, with occasional opportunities at our other
locations. - At the end of the internship, students share their knowledge by presenting their completed projects to managers, coworkers and peers.
