John Martin is the Vice President of the Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit (SCU) for Ball Aerospace. In this role, Martin is responsible for all Facilities, Industrial Operations & New Business, Manufacturing and Test Operations (MTO) and Integrated Supply Chain functions. Martin ensures the Operations SCU executes our world-class manufacturing operations and elevates and strengthens our supply chain integration across all of our business units. He personally builds and inspires diverse and highly effective teams who are accountable for driving profitability and recognized for achieving in the most challenging business environments.

His career encompasses 28 years of operations knowledge and 24 years of experience strategically expanding material flows, manufacturing and test value streams, facility infrastructures, capital equipment strategies, business processes and information management systems.

Since joining Ball Aerospace in 2002, Martin has held various leadership roles and made a significant impact on Ball Aerospace’s operations. Most recently, he served as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Test and Operations, where he was instrumental in driving efficiency and improving infrastructure and processes, all with a keen focus on safety.
